American Corner in Jericho Promotes Youth Creativity in Mother’s Day Workshop

In celebration of Palestinian Mother’s Day on March 21 and Women’s History Month, the American Corner in Jericho organized a creative workshop for 25 students to design gifts for the most important woman in their lives—their mothers!  American Corner staff encouraged them to think about what makes their mothers special and to compose special poems and messages for them.  The mothers beamed as the children presented them with the handmade messages of love and appreciation.
