The Importance of Environment and Earth Day

Our ancestors used land to grow crops, to feed their animals, they used its stones to build homes, and they used its wood to warm in winter’s cold nights. Land helped in the developing of human civilization, and it has been very important elements for every part of this civilization.

People extracted many and uncountable materials such as Gold,Silver,and Iron which it was used for building and war machines, but with the great increase of population, man became greedier and started to hurt and damage nature with his heavy industries and the uncounted consumption of land’s materials without regarding the wild life. And new problems stated to appear which risk life on Earth such as, Global Warming and its devastating effects at wild life.

But something has to be done to rescue our planet, our mother land from collapsing because of our avidity.

We need to send a wakeup call to all humans around telling them what is happening and urge them to act to save their home-Land.

We have to be more responsible with these actions. We have to give Earth the room to breathe well to recover again, by preventing all kinds of pollutions everywhere, in soil, in water, and in air. And we have to find alternative nonpolluting sources of energy, so we have to dedicate all our knowledge to develop these new kinds of energy.

Earth Day was created to remind us of the importance of land and to be sure that we never forget it on which way to smooth the road for the next coming generations.
