Appointment Tips

In order to make your visit to the Consulate as efficient and productive as possible, please note the following:

• Only people requiring services will be admitted.  Please avoid bringing family members who do not need to come to the Consulate.
• Fill out your forms ahead of time. If your forms are not complete, you will remain outside until you complete them.  All forms are available on-line on by following this link to Forms.
• Complete a physical presence affidavit if you are applying for a birth report and either a) only one parent is a U.S. citizen or b) neither of two U.S. citizen parents was born in the U.S.
• Bring correctly sized photos for your passport application and cut them ahead of time. Follow this link to Photo Specifications.
• Do not bring unnecessary electronic equipment to the Consulate.  You will need to hand in any electronics before passing through security.
• Come on time.  No scheduled appointments will be accepted after 1200hrs.
