Consul General Jacob Walles Hosts an Iftar in Ramallah
US Consul General Walles welcomed over 130 guests to Iftar in Ramallah on Sunday, September 30. In his remarks, CG Walles highlighted the importance of the event both as an opportunity for him and his staff to break the fast in the company of good friends as well as a symbol of the American people’s respect for the holy month of Ramadan and Islamic values. The invitees included a representative of President Abbas, the Acting Prime Minister and a number of cabinet ministers, governors, mayors and representatives from the Palestinian non-governmental organizations and businesses.
