Interviews for immigrant visas are by appointment only. The Immigrant Visa Section accepts phone calls between 8:00 pm-12:00 noon, and 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Petitions are accepted on Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Legal  Permanent Residents who have not received or lost their Alien Registration Card (green card) may come on Friday by appointment only.

Those wishing to file for their child(ren), please plan to come in the morning of the same day to process a claim for U.S. citizenship for your child(ren)who may be U.S. citizen(s)and may not need immigrant visa(s).

The section is closed on all American and local holidays.

**PLEASE NOTE: BABY STROLERS AND CARRIAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE CONSULATE BUILDING AND YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE UNATTENDED.**
