Consul General Hosts a Night of Music for Palestinians

The Consul General hosted a concert for exchange program alumni

Taking advantage of the U.S. Consulate's beautiful garden, the Consul General hosted a concert for exchange program alumni and other notable Palestinians. The performance was given by a well-known Palestinian composer and singer and his accompanists, who played several classical Arabic pieces, as well as possibly the first ever oud rendition of Frank Sinatra's "My Way." This was the first such concert to be staged in the garden in many years, and the guests described the evening as a welcome opportunity to mingle with a diverse group in a relaxing atmosphere. The Consulate looks forward to hosting other such events in the future.
