Consul General Highlights U.S. Support to Palestinians on Visit to Nablus

On April 25, Consul General Walles met with a group of prominent local leaders in Nablus, hosted by Munib al-Masri. The meeting, which included the governor of Nablus, the president of Al-Najah University and members of civil society and the private sector, focused on recent developments in U.S. policy, the situation on the ground in Nablus and U.S.-Palestinian relations. During the meeting, the Consul General reiterated the longstanding U.S. support for the Palestinian people and its committment to the Roadmap, stressing that the Roadmap is the most appropriate means with which to move the peace process forward.
