MEPI Local Grant Competition

MEPI Jerusalem Local Grant Competition is currently (Closed).

Please click here for more info: http://jerusalem.usconsulate.gov/about_the_program.html

In addition to MEPI’s Washington Awards and Education & Exchange programs, MEPI provides a significant number of grants to local organizations working to advance reform within their communities. The local grant projects promote greater freedom and opportunity for people in the region by helping partners carry out their innovative project ideas. These grants are also successful in expanding the role of civil society in identifying local challenges and finding the best solutions to them at the community level.

Local grants usually range from 25,000 to 75,000 USD and last up to one year. Palestinian applicants, including individuals and non-governmental organizations (NGO's), should apply directly to the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem. More information on local grant projects is listed below.

For timely consideration and funding of proposals for the current cycle, submissions should be emailed to MEPIJerusalem@state.gov      (Deadline Closed)

Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Department of State Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) programs.
