Nablus Youth Create Beautiful Music at Consulate Supported Camp
The Consulate was proud to fund the annual music summer camp organized by the Al Kamandjati Association for more than 100 children from the Nablus area, including refugee camps. Students were treated to lessons by guest teachers and performers from the United States and received one-on-one tutorial sessions. The greatest treat, however, was reserved for the community who enjoyed a different concert, performed by the students and teachers, every evening of the week-long program. The Consulate was pleased to partner with the Al Kamandjati Association which is a local non-profit NGO that offers free, professional music training and programs for disadvantaged children in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
