U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem Hosts American Musician Peter Yarrow and Members of “Operation Respect” in Ramallah

U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem hosted American Musician Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary) and three members of his team at “Operation Respect”. Mr. Yarrow, joined by Mark Weiss, Charlotte Frank, and Kevin Salem from Operation Respect, undertook a one-day visit to Ramallah that included a teacher-training workshop with twenty Palestinian teachers from private schools and Ministry of Education schools throughout the West Bank, and a performance for 140 elementary school students at the Friends School in Ramallah. Operation Respect is an American non-profit educational organization that works in the U.S. and internationally to promote respectful school environments, free of bullying, ridicule and violence. Founded by Peter Yarrow, the organization disseminates educational resources that incorporate his music as well as a variety of educational resources.
