American Studies Series Brings Women’s History Month to West Bank Universities
The Consulate brought Beloit College Professor of American Politics and Women’s and Gender Studies Duert-Lahti to West Bank university audiences via digital video conference to discuss the American women’s rights movement. Dr. Duert-Lahti gave a detailed overview of the movement from colonial times to the present day, fascinating students at both Hebron and Birzeit universities in the West Bank. The series will continue at An-Najah and Al-Quds universities in April.
