U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem Recognizes Great American Thinkers at a Special Quiz Night Competition

Continuing the popular “Quiz Night” program, Consulate General Jerusalem hosted one of its monthly Quiz Nights for residents of East Jerusalem in partnership with PALVision, a local NGO that promotes leadership for youth. As a part of our monthly thematic programming, this Quiz Night featured questions about prominent American scientists, social activists, and intellectuals. Participants answered questions about great American thinkers and winning teams won prizes from the Consulate General and PALVision. Cultural Affairs Officer Cynthia Harvey delivered welcoming remarks and encouraged the approximately 150 attendees to enjoy friendly competition while also learning about American history and culture. A Palestinian MC/comedian ensured that the evening was full of laughter as he led joke competitions, music, and dramatic skits between rounds of questions.
