Consulate General Jerusalem Celebrates Ramadan with Youth from Jenin and Nablus
Consulate General Jerusalem staff visited Jenin to participate in a community service school beautification project at local schools. The Consulate joined its local partner Partners for Sustainable Development for a cultural celebration that focused on the students’ talents, and an American-themed cultural quiz. The cultural night also included performances of the traditional Palestinian folkdance, Dabkeh, as well as a tumbling and juggling circus-inspired performance. The event, one of many that took place throughout the West Bank in Hebron, Salfeet, Nablus, Qabatyia, and Jenin, attracted approximately sixty students and volunteers.
