U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem Highlights “Health Education and Awareness Month” With a Special Quiz Night Competition
As part of its monthly Quiz Night series in partnership with the local NGO PAL Vision, Consulate General Jerusalem hosted a lively and competitive Quiz Night in Ramallah. This event highlighted the PD theme of the month “Health Education and Awareness.” The event attracted 150 Palestinians from the local community and included youth, health practitioners, and business leaders in Ramallah. Cultural Affairs Officer Cynthia Harvey delivered welcoming remarks emphasizing the importance of health education. The questions were a mix of local and American issues relating to the health system, education and awareness. A team from the Consulate General participated in the competition, and winners won a variety of prizes. The event provided an opportunity for Ramallah-based Palestinians to gather in a non-politicized, casual, and free environment with other members of their community, including American and Palestinian members of the Consulate staff.
