"Eco-Poetry" Contest Winners
The Consulate General would like to thank everyone who participated in our Eco-Poetry contest held during last month’s environmental education month. All participants will receive an official certificate of achievement. We are also proud to announce our first place winners who will receive a prize packet of U.S. themed materials:
Gaza Entries:
First Place: Noor, 16 years old, Gaza, for the beautiful poem, “Utopia – Deeds Not Words.”
Jerusalem Entries:
First Place: Nuha, 14 years old, Jerusalem, for the thoughtful poem “A Chain of Tragedy.”
West Bank Entries:
First Place: Khalid, 17 years old, Bethlehem, for the joyful poem, “Let’s Rejoice, It’s Spring Time.”
Arabic Language Poems:
First Place: Mohammad, 16 years old, Hebron, for the powerful poem “Kafa.”
