U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem presented The Young Artists Forum 100 books specialized in arts topics and paintings. The books were accepted by YAF Director Mr. Mohammad Salha in a small ceremony at the YAF headquarters in Ramallah. 

The books, which are all authored by Americans, were purchased with a USD 1650 as part of an USD8000 grant from the U.S. Consulate General's Public Affairs Section to sponsor 24 art students from unprivileged backgrounds for enrollment in art courses for a period of three months.   

Mr. Sawalha spoke at the event saying: “This presentation is a very important contribution by the Public Affairs Section at the Consulate, which we appreciate so much.  It is a great quality support we always needed, mainly that it provides artistic books we can hardly find in the Palestinian market.”
