Study USA Fair

In an effort to introduce Palestinian students to opportunities for study in the United States, the United States Commercial Service and the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem are hosting the second annual Study USA information fair on Saturday, October 1 at the Grand Park Hotel in Ramallah. The fair is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The fair will be opened by U.S. Consul General Jake Walles and the Minister of Education and Higher Education, both of whom will speak to the attending students and families. Other speakers will include the Chief of Visa Services at the American Consulate in Jerusalem who will address questions on obtaining a student visa.

Representatives from American universities will host booths with information about their institution and the process of applying to become a student at these American universities. AMIDEAST, the education advising organization, will also host a booth at the fair with information on their advising services, scholarship opportunities, and testing services. Representatives from the U.S. Consulate General will also be available to answer questions on study opportunities and life in the United States.

The fair is an excellent opportunity for Palestinian students to answer all their questions about studying in the United States.
