U.S Consulate Jerusalem Hosts Ramadan Quiz Nights

The Jerusalem Hotel was filled to capacity on October 6 and 12 to enjoy Ramadan quiz nights sponsored by the U.S. Consulate General. The final in the series is expected to be full as well. Pal Vision, a local youth-oriented NGO, arranged for the Quiz Nights, the first of its kind in Jerusalem to target youth in Ramadan. The events are open to the public, but focus on local youth and on civic education organizations.
The questions revolve around Jerusalem city awareness, general trivia, and riddles, and some have an American component. The Consulate contributed books about the U.S. as prizes. The youth and public thoroughly enjoyed the event and expressed their hope that quiz nights become a regular event in the Jerusalem cultural scene. Consulate staff gave welcoming remarks and were invited to serve as MC at future events.
