Passport Renewals
Renewing a Passport for Applicants Over 16 Years Old
There are two different procedures for applicants over the age of 16 to renew their passports, depending on whether the passport being renewed was a full-validity, adult (10-year) passport or was issued with a validity of less than 10 years (for example, a passport with a validity of five years issued when the applicant was still under the age of 16).
