US College Recruiters Participate in StudyUSA Fair in Ramallah

The U.S. Consulate General teamed up with US government funded advising experts, AmidEast, to organize the first StudyUS fair in the West Bank since 2005.  Over 300 enthusiastic students and their parents met with 10 American college recruiters, AmidEast’s educational advisor, and alumni of US universities.  Palestinian Ministry of Education officials attending the fair expressed their hope that it would become an annual event.  For their part, the US college recruiters commented that the visit exceeded their expectations and they hope to make it a regular feature of their tours to the region.  The fair was held on April 26.
