U.S. Consulate Sponsors Media Training for Spokespeople
September 10, 2007 The U.S. Consulate General welcomed Tarek Rizk, Associate Director of the Global Interdependence Initiative for a Consulate sponsored training program in the West Bank on September 10-13. Mr. Rizk, a specialist in media relations and messaging for civic activism organizations, held work-shops and consultations with local civic leaders and NGO spokespeople to help them develop effective media strategies that will both inform and energize the public to become engaged in the civic process.
