Visa Waiver Program
Travelers bearing certain passports may visit the United States without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program. Those qualifying under the Visa Waiver Program must still submit their travel details via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) website prior to their travel. How to read your visa
After you receive your passport with your new visa, check to make sure that all the information printed on the visa is correct. Use the diagram above as a guide. If any of the information on your visa does not match the information in your passport or is incorrect, please contact the Nonimmigrant Visa section.
In addition, check that “Nationality” is correct:
- If you received your visa in your Israeli passport, it should say “ISRL”
- If you received your visa in your Palestinian passport, it should say "PAL"
- If you received your visa in your Jordanian passport, it should say "JORD"
- If you received your visa in another passport, it should show that nationality
