Applicants over 80 and under 14 years

Applicants over 80 and under 14 years:

If you are over 80 years or under 14 years you are not required to schedule an appointment.  You can apply for your visa by sending your application, fee and documents to this office.  This contains a completed and signed visa application form DS-156 which must be completed electronically on the web site http://evisaforms.state.gov, valid passport and any other passport(s) you have used for prior U.S. travel, photo and evidence of ties to your place of residence.

When submitting application(s) for child(ren) make sure you send the passports of both parents.  If the child(ren) is/are going for U.S. naturalization appointment with DHS, you must provide a copy of the appointment letter from DHS.  For children whose parents are US citizens and cannot transmit citizenship to the children, please submit a “letter of non-transmission of U.S. citizenship” from the American Services Section before submitting the application. 

In some cases it may be necessary to schedule an in person interview with a consul.
