We have had reports of disturbances at the Aqsa Mosque perimeter. All Jerusalem Old City gates have been supplemented with police personnel to screen all visitors. There is a substantial increase in police presence in the Old City and the area surrounding the ramparts. Tensions are high in the Aqsa Mosque area and all U.S. Government personnel are instructed to avoid the Old City until further notice.
