There is a possibility of protests during the coming days on the Haram Al-Sharif/ Temple Mount objecting to the construction taking place near the Dung Gate in Jerusalem's Old City. The restriction announced February 6 barring Consulate personnel from the Old City has been lifted. However, due to the possibility there could be disturbances, we are advising all staff to avoid the area around the Western Wall and Dung Gate through Sunday, February 11.
