YES Alumni Go "On the Road" to Share Ramadam Experiences from the United States

On October 10, two YES participants from Salfeet and Nablus in the West Bank spoke to 70 public school students at the public Spanish Girls School in Ramallah, focusing on their experiences celebrating Ramadan in the US. The presenters, speaking to current 9th and 10th graders, emphasized that the YES program not only allowed them to learned a lot about American culture, families and everyday life, but also gave them the opportunity to serve as ambassadors for their own culture.
